I’m Anusha — an Architect turned Illustrator, and a certified Yoga Instructor from the Govardhan School of Yoga.
My creative journey began in Bangalore, where I grew up surrounded by color, stories, and the quiet inspiration of everyday life. During my Architectural studies, I discovered my love for illustration and visual storytelling — a space where imagination, emotion, and narrative come together. This passion led to the creation of Aaamras Design, rooted in the belief that there is beauty in the ordinary, and that even the simplest moments can be transformed into stories worth sharing.
Today, I specialize in children’s book illustration, along with traditional art styles in digital media using beautiful colors, expressive characters, and thoughtful storytelling to bring ideas to life.
My Yoga Journey
Growing up in a home rooted in Bhakti Yoga, I learnt early to see life through a spiritual lens. In 2022, I began practicing Hatha Yoga to improve my physical health, and I experienced firsthand how transformative it was for both body and mind. But it was only later, while working full-time as an Artist & Designer in Singapore, that the practice took on a deeper meaning. Despite a great work environment & creative freedom, the sedentary lifestyle began affecting my physical and emotional wellbeing, leading me back to yoga with a sincere desire to understand the body–mind connection more deeply.
My training at Govardhan Eco Village strengthened this foundation and deepened my understanding of yogic living, mindfulness, and holistic wellbeing. It also showed me how many people face similar struggles — chronic tension, anxiety, restlessness, and disconnection.
Today, I’m a certified instructor offering classes focused on joint mobility, strengthening, and restoring healthy movement patterns. Guided by chakra-based practises, I work not just with the physical body but also with pranic flow and emotional balance. Through mindful movement and breath-led practices, I support students in cultivating a calmer, more connected way of living
